ACS Resident and Surgical Trainee members are invited to participate in the 2024 Advocacy and Health Policy Abstract Competition. If their submission is selected, they can attend and present their abstract at the Leadership & Advocacy Summit, April 13-16, 2024, in Washington, DC, and receive a $500 Resident Travel Award to help defray travel costs. In addition, awards for the top three abstracts will be announced during the event.
ACS chapters in the United States are encouraged to promote this opportunity to their resident and trainee members. Chapters interested in holding a local competition may submit up to two abstracts in each category for consideration. Abstracts submitted through a chapter competition will have priority.
Submissions are due by January 15, 2024, to acschapters@facs.org.
